A Big Brother is an adult male mentor who is matched with a young boy between the ages of seven and sixteen in a one-to-one friendship. A Big Brother must be at least 18 years of age but may be from any walk of life, single or married, with or without his own children. He is committed, caring and has the ability to provide positive guidance, support and safety to his Little Brother. Big Brothers are asked to make a commitment for a minimum of one year and to see their Little Brother once a week for 2-4 hours.
Our agency has the highest standards and a one-of-a-kind support system to protect both the volunteer and the child. Our caseworkers will provide you with all the support necessary to ensure that your match is just that, one-of-a-kind.
